Good luck Johnny! – Updated!

By Tom Schultz  //  Blog Post  //  No Comments

This is basically me using the site to “retweet” :(   But props to JohnnyIHackStuff for helping get technology out to the less fortunate people out there.  I mean even if that kid takes your shipment the laptops are still going to be sold to someone over there that wouldn’t have had that opportunity otherwise right?

I have one of those Compaq Evo 610′s…pretty sweet laptop.  I would still use it except my sister has it :( But she just got a new macbook pro….hmmm….

Anyway, go Johnny! I really believe in giving people the tools they need to educate them selves.

UPDATE:

So it all worked out!

The biggest problem with tiny netbooks…

The Intro

I have to admit that I have been caught up in the “Netbook Hysteria” that has occurred since the release of the EeePC by ASUS.  I watched the rumors about the EeePC and I even called ASUS, asking to be a beta tester for the little devils.

The first time I actually encountered a netbook was about a month ago in a….you guessed it, corporate giant and consumer goods selling extraordinaire, Best Buy.

And yes, ASUS never called me back about the beta testing. Congratulations, you get a gold star for guessing that.
